This is a strange one. I love the boldness of the house & the sculptural wall visible from the street but I also wonder why build a wall of glass and then build an almost solid wall behind - one lets in light and the other blocks it. And, to me, it seems a shame the living accommodation is pushed to the back of the house (the front is a library and artist studio) and doesn’t get to be part of the lovely sculptural space and enjoy all the light on a daily basis.
Regardless - kudos to the planners for allowing a modern house to be modern!
